ATTUNED ACCOMPANIMENT

Cate Moon looks into the camera. They wear dark framed glasses and lean in to hear what you have to say.

Hi, I’m Ct Moon (they/them)

I’m creating new culture.

I am a queer, white, able-bodied anti-racist, non-binary trans* person, mystic, writer, and collaborator stretching into a newly empty nest in the city.  When I’m not meeting with clients, I’m likely writing, reading a book, walking around town, or connecting with my community.

In 2009, frustrated with “business as usual”, I started a product development and manufacturing company with little more than my desire to do things differently. Building a business, developing processes, adding employees, creating policy, and leadership in general walked me onto a path of personal and professional transformation.  In 2021, I sold the company and embarked on a journey of gender affirmation I had waited my whole life for.

Stepping out of my socially enforced roles and into my authenticity clarified how I want to contribute. I am currently working to express the experience of nonbinary invisibility in a manuscript currently titled BOI HOWDY! Finding Trans Joy.

My life experience inspires me to work directly with individuals and organizations who wish to grow into expansive, post-conventional realities of liberation. I’m happiest when I’m writing, talking about writing, editing, brainstorming, experimenting, deeply hearing others and finding solutions.

I’m a one-person operation, conscientiously objecting to scaling a business in capitalism on the backs of other humans and at the expense of our natural resources. Hang tight, I will respond.

A Special Invitation

I extend a special invitation to non-binary, trans*, queer, questioning, and those people adjacent them. Living as “other” in an implicitly and explicitly binary culture presents challenges that cannot be solved inside the binary culture.
